Meet Megan
Founder & Principal Planner
Since a young age, I have always loved connecting with those closest to me through events. I strive to build and maintain relationships with loved ones during life’s most memorable moments. I am best known for my creative eye, calming presence, and the ability to create timeless event designs with an even more incredible experience that will have guests mentioning your event for years to come.
I began my events career while studying Hospitality Management at the University of South Carolina, where I focused in Event & Meeting Planning and immediately fell in love with the industry. Over the last 10 years, I have worked alongside several wedding planners, as a corporate event planner for a major bank in Washington D.C., and as an event manager for two luxury hotels. Ultimately, my love for events and entrepreneurship prompted me to create Kinship Events Co.!
Kinship Events Co. was created to foster meaningful connection among family and friends through events. We take time to understand your vision and goals, and work with you to execute a flawless event that will be remembered for years to come. We believe in creating timeless, sophisticated events that reflect you in a way that is truly memorable and unique.
Our Process
01. Inquire
This is where you fill us in on all the details of your event, from date and location to vibe and color scheme! The more information you provide, the better we can recommend the right planning package for you.
02. Book
We’ll schedule an intake call to ensure we’ve covered all the nitty gritty details and answer any questions you may have. From there, you’ll sign on the dotted line, submit your deposit and then the fun begins!
03. Plan
We’ll book our first meeting to get the process started! Over the next few months leading up to your event date, we’ll finalize all the details & design elements until it’s just right.
04. Celebrate!
Every bit of your vision will come to life on your event date! We’ll handle all the day-of coordination and ensure your event flows without a hitch. All you’ll need to do is have fun & be a guest at your own event!
